Zoopa Roadshow

By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize, all entrants and the winner agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. The Competition commences on the 22nd of November 2011 and closes at midnight on the 31st of January 2012. No entries received after this time will be considered.
  2. To qualify as an entrant in the Competition you must be a citizen or permanent resident of South Africa, currently residing in South Africa, be 18 years of age or older at the commencement date of the Competition and be in possession of a valid driver's licence, both at the commencement date of the Competition as well as the time on which the prizes are awarded.
  3. The promoter of the Competition is Carstats SA (Proprietary) Limited and/or its agencies ("Organisers").
  4. Entrants can enter the Competition by registering onthe www.zoopa.co.za website through facebook connect located on the Zoopa website, or by playing the Mustang race car game located on the Zoopa facebook page. Further entry opportunities will be communicated during the campaign which may increase the chances of winning.
  5. There are ten spot prizes, in the form of Samsung products, namely Galaxy Tabs and Cellphones, and these spot prizes will be awarded at the end of each week to the individual with the highest score for that week in the Mustang race car game within the Zoopa facebook page.
  6. The grand prize is a reconditioned 1967 Ford Mustang which will be awarded to one lucky winner on the 4th of February 2012 at a public draw event, the details of which will be confirmed and communicated to entrants.
  7. Entrants may enter the Competition as many times as is permitted through the multiple entry point mechanisms that have been created within the campaign.
  8. The Organisers will interpret the Rules in their sole discretion and reserve the right to amend the Rules at any time during the Competition.
  9. The Organisers, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them and any supplier of goods and services in connection with the Competition and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates are not eligible to participate in or enter the Competition.
  10. The winner of the grand prize will be announced at an event on the 4th of February 2012.
  11. Prizes are not transferable. The winners may not substitute any prize for cash.
  12. Any prize not taken up for any reason within 30 days of the date on which the winner of such prize is announced, may be forfeited.
  13. The Organisers reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of similar value.
  14. The Organisers may require the winner(s) and the winner(s) agrees by entering the Competition (at no cost), to be identified, photographed, filmed and the aforegoing to be published in any media.
  15. By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize, the entrants and winner hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless the Organisers (including their subsidiaries, holding companies and affiliates), their directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors ("Organiser Parties") from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
  16. The Organisers reserve the right to terminate or amend the Competition with immediate effect and at any stage, without notice. In such event, all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against any Organiser Party and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature against the Organiser Parties.
  17. The decision of the Organisers will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to any aspect of the Competition.
  18. The Organisers are not liable for any failure and/or occurrence that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  19. Any prize is accepted by a winner at his/her own risk and voetstoots, and the Organisers are not liable, at any time, for any defect in any prize.
  20. In respect of any prize, the full risk in such prize will pass to the winner on delivery to him or her of such prize and the Organisers will facilitate the signature of all forms and delivery of all documents to the winner(s) that allow the winner(s) to register the prize in his or her name.
  21. In accepting any prize in this Competition, the winner of such prize does so in acknowledgement and agreement that he/she will be fully liable for all and any tax consequences that may arise as a result of winning and/or accepting the prize and indemnifies and holds the Organisers harmless against any such tax consequences that may arise, including but not limited to in respect of Donations Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax.
